At the recent Chicago Gourmet – Rise & Shine event, Prática’s ovens made a remarkable impact. Performance Food Group (PFG) showcased a standout dish, serving up over 1,000 perfectly warm and crispy chicken and waffle portions with the help of our Forza STI and Fit Express ovens. Thanks to seamless programming and rapid heat-up times, these ovens operated flawlessly, allowing the PFG team to keep up with the crowd’s demand at an astonishing rate of 1.3 minutes per dish.

Pre-Programmed Settings Deliver Flawless Operation

Our Midwest Culinary Concepts sales rep, Denny Stafl—who covers MAFSI regions 17 and 18—played a critical role in making this happen. Denny took the time to visit the PFG team in Aurora to pre-program the ovens with quick-access settings. This preparation allowed the PFG team to transport the ovens directly to the event, set up with no issues, and begin service without missing a beat. The Forza STI handled waffles while the Fit Express kept the chicken hot and ready for each order, showcasing just how versatile these ovens are in high-pressure, high-volume environments.
